Rebecca Cook

From an early age, Rebecca knew in her heart she was a storyteller.  An active member of the Washington film community, Rebecca Cook got her AAS in Radio at SFCC and her BA in Theatre from EWU.  She has worked as an actress, director, costumer, make-up artist, producer, and director throughout the state. There have been many diverse experiences that formed her professional life, including working as a DJ, founding a community theater, teaching in college theatre departments, performing and developing Living History programs, co-producing the ground-breaking virtual reality series Music of the Spheres, and directing 3 award-winning short films.  For the last several years, she has worked with wardrobe on over 20 feature films, several commercial productions, and just finished season two of Syfy Channel’s Z Nation in the accounting department.  In her passion for the film industry, she serves as a board member for IATSE Local 488 and is the Spokane Community Coordinator for Washington Filmworks, as well as being a member of the Spokane Film Project. She has narrated various commercial and documentary voice-overs, as well as brought to life over 65 audiobooks.  Because she can’t get enough of the sound of her own voice, she has been asked to speak to many theater students and local professionals about her journey creating a life in the arts. She is thrilled to be spending her life doing so many things she loves.
