Biography
Adell’s credits include performances with the Paul Robeson Players and the Carson Community Players in California. She has appeared in numerous Onyx Theater Troupes/Civic Theater productions such as, The Colored Museum (various characters), For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf”(The Lady in Blue), National Pastime (Rachel Robinson), Having Our Say (Bessie Delany), A Raisin in the Sun (as Beneatha), in Reading Stage’s Southern Cross (Bridget) , The Exonerated (as Georgia, Female Ensemble #1) and Holding On – Letting Go (Lee) Adell has won Best in State at the Washington State Community Theater Association Festival for her roles in National Pastime and Having Our Say. Appeared in The Lonely Soldier Monologues that was presented at the Stage Left Theater in Spokane WA.
Asst. Stage Manager on Flyin’ West and performed as understudy as Minnie Charles in the production.
Worked on numerous productions back stage such as the Miracle Worker performed at Interplayers Theatre that was directed by Patty Duke
