    Biography

I earned a B.A. in Economics at the University of Texas and an MBA from Texas Christian University. My first writing endeavor was a one-woman show directed by the illustrious Penny Allen. From there I ventured onto screenplays. ÒA Second ChanceÓ won grand prize/first place in the Hartley-Merrill International Screenwriting Competition presented at the Cannes Film Festival. I am an alumni of the prestigious Sundance WriterÕs Lab as well as its European counterpart, the Plume et Pellicule writersÕ workshop sponsored by Dreamago in Sierre, Switzerland. Currently, I have two feature projects, Look to Norway and Napeyoma; and Pass the Salt, an off-broadway play. I am very humbled and proud to be a board member of The Good Project, an organization that supports the education, healthcare, and preservation of the Yanomami.
