Travis Roop

I’m an award-winning cinematographer and Director of Photography based in Spokane, WA, working across the Inland Northwest. My passion lies in both documentary and narrative storytelling, bringing a cinematic visual style to projects ranging from short films to character-driven documentaries and branded content.

My approach is rooted in strong composition, intentional lighting, and a deep understanding of how visuals serve story. I’m comfortable working with a full crew or working in agile solo production environments, and I’ve filmed in a variety of locations for clients including nonprofits, athletes, and independent film productions. As a licensed drone pilot, I also integrate dynamic aerial cinematography into my work, adding scale and perspective to narrative and documentary projects.
