Biography

Director/Editor:
Though a recent graduate of Eastern Washington University’s Film Program, Adam Harum has been a filmmaker since the age of nine.
Making his first feature film at only fourteen, Harum continued his passion for filmmaking throughout his school career and was a founder of the North Central Washington High School Film Festival, one of the first of it’s kind in the state.
Through this passion, Harum has worked on films and commercials all over the world. He’s been embedded with the troops, filmed on aircraft carriers, and captured the destruction and rebirth of Haiti since the 2010 earthquake.
Harum has applied his film sensibilities to his commercial work, being quickly recognized by the advertising community. His editing and visual effects work has won several awards, including recognition at the New York Festival, as well as two Emmy’s for work done for Lockheed Martin and the Smithsonian Institute.
Harum currently works freelance, but splits his time between visual effects work for Seattle based Web Series’, editing commercials and a feature length Haiti documentary for Spirit Lake Pictures, and pursuing his own passions through his award winning Web Series “Transolar Galactica”. He also rarely ever sleeps.
