Biography

Kendra Ann Sherrill has worked in the film industry for nearly ten years. She graduated from the Film Program at Eastern Washington University, where she received the Best Director and Best Feature-Length Screenplay awards. She currently serves as the Production Services Coordinator for Washington Filmworks and previously worked as the Senior Producer/Editor for the Emmy-award-winning show Washington Grown.

Kendra has a passion for creating content for children! Her recent short film, A Dreamer’s Melody, screened at over 20 children’s film festivals around the world. She is also the Editor for the King County local children’s television series Look, Listen, and Learn, which recently won a Telly Award.

In addition to film production, Kendra has a passion for education and community. She was the Co-Director of the Spokane International Film Festival and a Board Member for organizations such as the Spokane Film Project and Terrain Arts. Kendra wrote the curriculum and taught an Introduction to Film Production class at Spokane Falls Community College and currently sits on the Advisory Board for the school’s development of a full film program.
