Kyle Prothe

Kyle has been a Spokanite since his family moved to here in 2002. His passion for filmmaking began when he and his friends made a series of short zombie films in high school. He continued on to study Communications and Film/TV Production at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. During his time in undergrad, Kyle gained his first professional experience interning on the first season of Syfy’s Z Nation. In 2017, Kyle moved back to Spokane where he works as a Photojournalist at KHQ news. Kyle also worked on the 2019 horror film Get Gone in the camera department. He also produces promotional videos for local theaters, including the Spokane Civic Theatre and Spokane Stage Left Theater.
