Biography
Russell G. Williams has been involved in film making since the early 2000’s beginning with skateboard film making. He attended Eastern Washington University from 2007 to 2010 where he graduated from their film program under the direction of Tom Mullin and Marvin Smith. Since then, he has created, directed, and produced R.A.M.P.S., which was one of the top TV shows that aired on CMTV. R.A.M.P.S. was a variety show that featured local artists seen through the underground view of Russell and his partner Matthew Winters, a local musician. He has also been a second AC on the movie The Mooring. Russell is active in the writing and reading scripts. He has also received his Screen Reader certificate from Carolyn Carpenter and the Hollywood Gatekeeper’s Screen Reader program to go on the read for the Nashville Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, and as a Screen Reader for Stage 32. On top of these achievements, Russell has several years of experience as a Stagehand for V.I.P. Productions Northwest and I.A.T.S.E. Local 93 where he continues to expand his knowledge.
