Biography
I started out as an intern at the Empowerment Project in Santa Monica California 1987-1990 working utility, shooting B-Roll, and as the editor’s assistant on the documentaries “Coverup: Behind the Iran Contra Affair” and “The Panama Deception” which went on to win an Oscar.
I am a graduate of Sound Master Audio/Video Institute in Hollywood 1988-1990
studying audio and video recording in studio and in the field.
I worked as a cameraman, soundman, gaffers assistant, and off line editor for ITV productions where we worked on commercials, infomercials, corporate, and much more.
1990-2007
I was a production assistant on the feature film “For The Boys” 1990
I worked as a first and second AC on thesis films for UCLA and USC student filmmakers. 1991-95
I was the Technical Director for the Advanced Technology Program at the American Film Institute 1990-1996 Working with digital video production, post production, classroom set ups, and training interns and volunteers
