    Biography

    Zackery Alexzander Stephens is a television writer and comedian. Most recently, they were staffed on The Amber Ruffin Show (Peacock) and Our Flag Means Death (Max). They sold a WGA-covered animated sci-fi comedy they sold to Amazon with Will Packer Productions and have a multicam comedy setup with Malcolm D. Lee’s Blackmaled Productions. Zackery has also developed projects with WBTV, CBS Television Studios, NAACP, Pursued by a Bear, Wolper Org, Ty Burrell’s Desert Whale, and Lilly Wachowski’s Anarchists United.

    Before focusing on television, Zackery spent almost a decade performing sketch and improvisational comedy in Chicago and New York at The Second City, iO, and UCB. They’re the child of two formerly incarcerated parents and were raised by a Mormon on a farm in the rural and inaccurately self-titled, “Palm Springs” of Washington State.
